Bioflash - who are we?

The beginning:

Following the discovery of how to extract krill oil and its characterization, we decided to create our company Bioflash Inc. Professor Beaudoin, after having trained numerous students at the higher level, left the University of Sherbrooke to concentrate on his inventions. At the same time, Luc Beaudoin worked in the field of product and process development in the paper and food sectors and in the industrial field in continuous improvement and energy efficiency.

Krill Oil Pioneers

Drs Beaudoin and Martin in 1997 invented the first process for extracting krill oil, which is considered the most effective omega-3 fatty acid oil on the market. Krill oil represents a market measured in billions of dollars. Neptune Technologies Bioressources is the first company to put krill oil on the market (patents).

Extraction of native collagen

DRs Beaudoin and Benrezak have developed a new process for extracting native collagen (industrial secret).

NOXvp - a super antioxidant

Dr Beaudoin developed with R. Boudreault a combination of ingredients with the property of neutralizing free radicals in oils (patents). It is included in the Ocean+Omega-3 product.

New direction, in 1999

Bioflash has focused its research on brain disorders and diseases using a new approach. The research themes are; attention deficit, anxiety and depression, and the development of an original treatment for Alzheimer's disease based on a key observation in transgenic mice that simulate this disease.

Dr Beaudoin and Luc Beaudoin have obtained patents for a " Synapset " TM formula which makes it possible to fill the deficiencies observed in individuals suffering from attention deficit with or without hyperaggression.
